A brand-new week of comics is almost here, and Green Brain Comics has another amazing lineup of stories waiting for you when doors open Wednesday, October 1st at 10am! From cosmic kaiju to dark gothic tales, from superhero showdowns to family epics, this week is absolutely packed with excitement.
Before we dive into the list, we want to share an important update: This Saturday, September 27th, is Local Comic Shop Day. While we would normally celebrate with full hours, this year we will be open from 10am–2:30pm only. In the afternoon, we will be attending the memorial service and celebration of life for Dan Wickett, organizer of Brain Candy and a dear friend to our store.
Dan was a passionate supporter of the arts, a tireless promoter of creators, and an inspiration to our community. His absence will be deeply felt, and our hearts go out to his family, his friends, and everyone touched by his spirit. Thank you for understanding our need to close shop early for this important tribute—even on a day as special as Local Comic Shop Day.
