New Comics for Wednesday, October 21, 2026
/🧠 NEW COMICS FOR WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2026!
🎃 The Witching Hour Is Getting Closer...
October is creeping toward Halloween, and the comics are getting suitably strange. We've got new worlds to explore, old favorites facing unexpected transformations, sinister family secrets, and a little Spider-Man trick-or-treating for good measure.
Whether you're looking for a sprawling science-fiction epic, a demonic family drama, a ThunderCats transformation gone terribly wrong, or a superhero adventure with a seasonal twist, this week's new arrivals have something lurking around every corner.
So sharpen those fangs, dust off the costume, and make room on that reading pile. The countdown to Halloween is officially underway, and Wednesday's comics are bringing the treats—with a few tricks thrown in for good measure.
Let's get into this week's Brain Food!

🎬 Saturday at the Senate Theater — October 24
Our pals at the historic Senate Theater have two very different reasons to head out for a movie on Saturday, October 24!
🧛 3–4:30 PM | Hotel Transylvania (2012)
Bring the family for a monster-filled matinee with Dracula, his daughter, and a hotel full of supernatural shenanigans. Halloween fun for the younger crowd!
🔪 8–11 PM | The Shining (1980)
For the grown-ups who prefer their October chills with a side of psychological horror, Stanley Kubrick's classic brings the terror to the big screen.
These are separate screenings with separate tickets—pick the one that suits your crew!
Showtimes and tickets at the Senate Theater.

🧠 BrainScan: Your Wednesday Preview
Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, we crack open the upcoming comics and give you a preview of what's landing on the shelves Wednesday morning. BrainScan is part guided tour, part recommendation session, and part excuse to talk about the comics we're excited to read.
We dig into new series, big returns, surprise favorites, and the oddball books that might otherwise slip under your radar. Sometimes the biggest book of the week is obvious. Sometimes the real treasure is the one you didn't know you needed until we started talking about it.
Join us on YouTube and Facebook, check out the covers, hear what caught our attention, and start building your stack before the doors open.
BrainScan: Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. Feed your curiosity before you feed your pull list!
📣 Last Call for Final Orders
Friday afternoons at 5 PM, we take one last look at the upcoming comics approaching Final Order Cutoff. That's where the interesting stuff gets a closer look: new series, #1s, one-shots, jump-on issues, graphic novels, manga, and those gloriously strange books that make you stop scrolling and say, "Wait. WHAT is that?"
Last Call is our chance to put some extra spotlight on the books that deserve a place on your radar before the preorder window closes. If something catches your eye, don't leave it to chance.
Get your preorders in through ComicHub by Sunday at midnight. That's the deadline for us to place those final orders, and once it's passed, adding more copies can become a whole different adventure.
Tune in Friday, find your next favorite, and give Future You something excellent to read.
Last Call: Fridays at 5 PM. Orders due Sunday at midnight.
