It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to sketch, experiment, or just sit with other creative folks and see where the evening goes. Bring your own materials or try out some samples, follow a prompt or do your own thing—there’s no pressure here.
Grab some food, settle in, and make something. Next session is June 12, but tonight’s right in front of you.

🎉 Free Comic Book Day – Saturday, May 2
Free Comic Book Day is almost here, and it’s shaping up to be another great one.
Everyone who stops by can pick out three free FCBD comics, just for coming in. If you’d like to pick up more, you can do so by bringing a donation—non-perishable food for Gleaners Food Bank, contributing to Friends for the Animals of Metro Detroit, or showing up in costume.
We’ll also have a group of guest creators joining us, including Jim Benton, Sean Peacock, Tameshja Brooks, Koi Tsang, and Alexa Arriaga, along with community partners and organizations throughout the day.
It’s a nice chance to celebrate comics, connect with others, and maybe discover something new.
